I was assigned to write and photograph a day tip article on the annual balloon festival in Foley, Alabama.  I spent the entire day there, and managed to wangle a delightful flight with Steve Jones, one of the pilots. 

As I was leaving near dusk, I saw this balloon in my rearview window, and immediately turned the car around.  Since I only had a few seconds to get the shot, I used a telephoto lens balanced on the hood of my car to steady it in the low light.
