John Stricklin,
Barbara Allen and I have all done magazine assignments.
The most common problem we face when working as
photo journalists is that there's very little time to
get the shots that we'd like: there just isn't
enough time. It teaches you to be fast on your feet, but
it's difficult to be creative under those conditions.
So we decided to get back to basics.
We set up a studio
at Barbara's house, and practiced controlled lighting,
to get this type of "classic portraiture" of aspiring
models Erica and Brandon. |
