Being the photo editor of South Mississippi Living Magazine was a wonderful experience for me, and they often gave me the latitude to come up with up with concepts that strayed from "mainstream."

But when I knew I was going to do an unconventional Christmas cover, I couldn't resist taking it one step further.  I knew the magazine would never go for it, but I really wanted to do a "naughty Santa" shot.  So I took the picture just for fun, and sent it to the model as her Christmas card.

To get the shot, I took a regular issue, taped white paper to the front page (I wanted a well defined area to work with), and  then composited the bikini shot onto the white background with Photoshop.
