The theme was "Summer Splash" for South Mississippi Living Magazine. I actually shot two completely different types of covers.  The first was a beautiful, bikini model on the beach.  It was deemed just a little too risque for a family-oriented lifestyle magazine. But I had a backup plan.

Any assignment that gets me in the water is a joy for me. Any assignment that gets me under it, is a dream. So I came up with this "concept" shot of kids having fun in a pool.

This shot was also rejected for a cover, but the magazine chose a similar shot that I also liked: May Cover
