This was another
one of those enjoyable assignments that happen too
rarely. I was writing and photographing an article
on The Parrothead's Annual river clean up canoe trip.
As a nominal Parrothead, I was invited along for the
canoe trip, so I spent half the day canoeing and
partying, and the other half photographing the
assignment.
To get this shot,
I was wading in waist-high water, moving backwards, as
young Aaron floated down the river. I used a
wide-angle lens with a polarizer, and direct flash to
soften the harsh shadows caused the noonday sun. |
