There was a famous Hollywood photographer in the 40's who photographed all the famous Hollywood starlets like Harlow and Grable.  I still remember the images, though I can't remember the photographer. 

Erica wanted some portfolio pictures, and fellow photographers Barbara Allen and John Stricklin were practicing studio photography at her house, so it was the perfect opportunity for us to get together make a day of it.  Erica made a great model, and let me practice with different lighting techniques.

I wanted to see if I could recreate the soft glamorous effect of that bygone Hollywood era, so I used a lot of ambient light, with just a bit of fill light and a hair light, and then tweaked the final image in Photoshop to achieve the desired effect.
