I was writing a daytrip article about the balloon festival in Foley, Alabama for South Mississippi Living Magazine, and wanted to capture the pre-flight preparations.  I used a wide angle lens with a polarizer, and laid on the grass shooting upward to heighten the effect of the balloon trying to break away as Steve Jones, the pilot, and his crew controlled it with ropes.
