When I was assigned to write and photograph a day trip article on diving in Florida springs, I went immediately to Vortex Spring, in Ponce De Leon, Florida. I knew the crystal waters and caves would make a spectacular prelude to the article. 

I metered the brightest area at the opening, and managed to capture the diver's air bubbles trapped on the ceiling of the cave for this dramatic shot of his ascent.
